What is an affiliate link?

An affiliate link is a specially tracked URL that tells a retailer I referred you. When you make a purchase through one of these links, the retailer pays me a small commission — typically 2–10% of the sale price. You pay exactly the same price you would have otherwise.

Affiliate links look and behave just like regular links. I do not receive any bonus for recommending one retailer over another, and commissions do not influence which products I include or exclude from any season's curated edit.

FTC compliance

In accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines on endorsements and testimonials (16 CFR Part 255), I disclose my affiliate relationships clearly throughout this site. Wherever affiliate links appear — on shop and season pages and in blog posts — you'll find a note letting you know the page contains affiliate links, and this page spells out the full details.

Affiliate programs

Right now, Palette Forward participates in a single affiliate program:

Every product currently linked on the site is through Amazon Associates. As Palette Forward grows, I plan to add other retail partners — and when I do, I'll update this page so it always reflects the programs actually in use.

Amazon Associates disclosure

Palette Forward is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

Editorial independence

Every product featured on Palette Forward is selected based on color analysis accuracy — does this piece genuinely belong in this season's palette? Affiliate availability is not a factor in curation decisions. If the best camel coat for a Bright Spring happens to be from a retailer without an affiliate program, I'll still link to it.

I am not paid to feature specific products. No brand has sponsored or influenced any of the season guides, palette pages, or editorial content on this site.

Prices and availability

Prices shown on this site are approximate and pulled at the time of curation. Prices fluctuate, products sell out, and retailers change their inventory. Always check the retailer's site for current pricing and availability.

About the color advice itself

Everything on Palette Forward is editorial — my own research, curation, and interpretation of seasonal color analysis. It is not a professional or certified color analysis service, and it isn't a substitute for an in-person draping session with a trained analyst.

Color analysis lives on a spectrum, not in rigid boxes. Your quiz result and the season guides are a considered starting point, not a final verdict — results are estimates, individual coloring varies, and plenty of people sit close to a neighboring season or genuinely between two. The most accurate read comes from seeing these colors against your own skin in natural daylight, or from an in-person session. Use what you find here to experiment and explore — and if a result doesn't feel right, trust your own eye.

Every styling and purchase decision you make is your own. I share what I'd genuinely recommend to someone in your season, but Palette Forward can't be responsible for how any individual product or color works out for you. Everything here is offered for general informational purposes.
